New Moon in Pisces
A Lunar Cycle Guide March 18- April 13
Welcome! I am so excited to share with you how I use the moon each month.
This guide will be published on each new lunar cycle beginning on the new moon. Also, it will be filled with the moon phases of the month and tips to maximize rest, taking action and celebrating your achievements. Your natal moon sign is your key to understanding what you need to feel emotionally fulfilled, and how to best nurture yourself. Getting to know the moon as they change every few days is a good way to see and feel the “mood” of the day. I work with the moon phases to show me when I need to rest, reflect or move on my inspiration. I love the moon!
What is a Lunar Cycle?
There are approximately 27-29 days in each lunar cycle. The moon will go through 8 phases and change zodiac signs every 2-2.5 days. Aspects to other planets can provide more context on the vibe but getting to see how you feel and some basic tips I have used during each phase you can use or follow your intuition. There are so many layers in astrology when it comes to aspects (relationships to other planets), and so much more. To make this simple I am only working with the moon and some potential auspicious placements. Always use your discernment and trust your intuition! I am sharing my experience and what has worked for me, so feel free to pass if it is not for you. The main goal here I want to share is that learning how you feel with the moon provides another tool to guide your intentions, add to your self-care routines and any healing or your own spiritual practices. If you are one that has a menstrual cycle, then you are heavily influenced by the moon and its phases.
How to find your Moon Sign if you don’t know it: https://cafeastrology.com/?s=moon+sign
Fun Fact: If you were born under a New Moon, chances are you love spontaneity. You love to take a risk and jump head first. You could be impulsive or restless. When you are at your best you are a great leader much like Aries energy, taking initiative. New moon people love to start over and start new things. But they can get bored, so taking time before making decisions or launching something new is ideal.
VIBE for this New Moon Cycle:
This cycle begins with the new moon in Pisces on March 17th. The astrological new year begins at the start of the Aries season which is on March 20th. This is an exciting time for new beginnings and fresh starts! To me, this Pisces new moon energy coupled with the Aries kickstart feels like dreams can become reality. So some things to think about:
What limited beliefs or fears do I have around my dreams or intentions?
If I could have the perfect ending to my dream story, what would that look and feel like?
Pisces New Moon Vibe: I pulled a card to see what collective message Spirit has for us.
The message is clear. Do more of what gives you joy this cycle! Have fun and don’t be so serious.
Message from Spirit if you are a Pisces ♓️ Moon:
The message here is believe! Trust in the unknown. Trust what is on its way and let it go. To remove doubt and fear, do something else that makes you feel good.
Moon Phases for this cycle:
New Moon Phase: March 18th
A New Moon brings “potential”. A time to plant seeds typically.
This new moon will be in Pisces. Our intuition may be heightened and this could support bringing those dreams to reality. Take some time to journal about what you want to bring in. Write in detail how it looks, and how you would feel.
Tips for this phase: Always always trust your intuition first. But journal what comes up for you. If you feel lead to set intentions after a breakthrough do it.
Crescent Phase: March 22nd
This phase begins with the Moon in Taurus which is also sextiling Jupiter and Mars
During this phase it is like the moon begins to peak with a slight sliver.
Tips for this phase: With the support from Jupiter and Mars you may feel good about starting on those intentions. Since we just started a new astrological new year and it is Aries season this is potent for new beginnings and Jupiter expanding those intentions!
First Quarter Phase: March 25th
This moon phase begins with the moon in Cancer.
Vibe: This is where we have to trust any intuitive nudges! If you feel called to take action on an intention, do it. Be curious but trust where your intuition is guiding you.
Tips for this phase: Write a few affirmations that align with your intentions. Make it more fun by affirming what it is you are calling in (like you already have it).
Waxing Gibbous Phase: March 29th
This moon phase begins with the moon in Leo. It is also trining with Venus in Taurus
Vibe: What seeds have begun taking shape, if any? Have your intentions changed at all? This is a time to review and refine anything. With the Venus support and Sun in Aries, this is a perfect day to treat yourself, self care. Dress up, get dolled up for you.
Tips for this phase: Take action steps that are inspired. Inspired action is key during a waxing phase. Do what feels right. And with this supportive energy, watch for the auspicious opportunities.
Full Moon Waning Phase: April 1st
This full moon will be in Libra.
Vibe: Full moons illuminate! So what aha moments arrive during this time? What did you learn? Celebrate any wins or intentions that manifested. Journal about what did not, because guess what? You can always start over on another new moon! Libra energy reminds me where I need balance. Am I giving too much to others and not myself?
Tips for this phase: I like to release what no longer serves me from this cycle. But I like to write a gratitude list of what came forth during this cycle as well. Gratitude helps us attract and it also is a beautiful reminder to celebrate what you appreciate.
Disseminating Phase (Waning): April 5th
This phase begins with the moon in Sagittarius.
Vibe: This is a time as the moon starts to wane, reflecting on everything since the new moon. Being in Sagittarius you may feel more called to reflect. Journal about your experiences. What worked out for you?
Tips for this phase: Share what you learned! Write about, blog about, talk to your bestie. Sharing knowledge or your wisdom is key.
Third Quarter or Last Quarter Phase (Waning): April 9th
This phase begins with the moon in Capricorn
Vibe: Do some reflection on the insights you received. Take some to rest and observe and process. Not too much doing or taking actions on intentions (unless you feel called of course), but more reviewing. With the moon in Capricorn, you may feel more called to review those goals and intentions. Go where that energy pulls you. Want to learn something new? Want to revise your path?
Tips for this phase: I like to write about what worked and what did not. Any real lessons or blessings that occurred if any. Sometimes I do nothing. Rest is required! Take time out for rest.
Balsamic or Waning Crescent Phase: April 13th
This phase begins with the moon in Aquarius to Pisces.
Vibe: This is the last phase before the next new moon. This is a time to reflect and maybe dream or plan (not do!) for the next cycle. A time where we somewhat have one foot in the past (reflecting) and one foot in the future (wanting to manifest).
Tips for this phase: Let go of the past! I was born during this phase so I tend to hold on to things longer than I should. So release what you don’t need and what you do not want to be a block before that next new moon. Rest rest rest!
Special Moon Aspect Days:
March 22nd - Moon in Taurus sextiling Jupiter in Cancer
April 5th - Moon in Sagittarius trining Neptune in Aries
April 5th - Moon in Sagittarius trining Mars in Pisces
Sometimes we fear the unknown, or starting over. I created a mini meditation below infused with Reiki. This guided meditation will be focused on the Solar plexus. The solar plexus represents where our confidence is but also our fears. The Reiki will assist in removing any blocks in this area. Enjoy and listen to it as many times as you need it.

Thank you sis for all this wisdom! This was very supportive ♥️
This is amazing!
